we are planning a trip to almeria (canjayar) frim the 1st untill the 9th of january, does anyone have any idea about the weather that time of year and are there any festivities that week???

Weather is normally warm all winter in Almeria area.
Remeber that the 1st will be all close, also the 6th. and that the 5th you can see the parade of the 3 wise men (kids get their presents on the nnight of the 5th to the 6th ...... ;-) ) enjoy it

The weather is warm in Almería, but Canjayar is in the Alpujarras in the mountains.
