I am going to be in Gothenberg in November and need to travel to Eskiltuna to visit some one. How far is it and which is the best method of transport

I would go by train. You can then catch the Stockholm train and change on the way. Time is depending on which train (high speed or not) you catch.

It's cheaper, and not much slower, if you avoid high speed trains (X2000). The distance is about 400km.

It takes about 4 hrs, by train and costs from about 700 sek. Return.
