hi all
im going to cambodia this month. Have a few enquiries to make : 1) what is the voltage of their electric socket 2) what currency should i be changing US $ or Riel 3) what are the likelihood of contracting dengue fever or malaria. I hears some places are Larium resisitant Yea i hope someone could answer to my enquiries. cheros bebel : ) |

Our local healthcare travel clinic provided a good health brief from MASTA (www.masta.info - These normally cost joe-public a few pounds). It stated that the highly resistant malaria is only in the western provinces, close to the Thia border. Phnom Penh is meant to be free from malaria.
Heading out there ourselves in a couple of weeks.
