hi, internal flights are standard for all, the only difference will be how much commission you pay, you can book your own tickets on the net. les

If you have time to kill, try the train or bus: much cheaper than flying. (and getting there is half the adventure...)

Aumi-chan,

Attached are a couple exerpts about train and bus travel to phuket. Buses are direct and take about 14 hours. With trains, you'd have to stop at Suratthani and then take a bus from there. If you decided to go this way, you could break the journey up by making a couple stops along the way. (Cha'am, Huahin, Suratthani/Koh Samui come to mind)

Ki o Tsukete....

There are plenty of flights to Phuket from Bangkok. First-class air-con buses take about 14 hours to reach the island from the capital.

Phuket - is the most popular beach island in Thailand, but there is no train to this destination. The closest railway station is in Surathani whereby you have to connect buses or coach to Phuket. The tickets of buses or coach can be purchased on spot.

Ayuthaya: Easy to go by either bus or train, takes about two hours.

Pattaya: Bus is probably the best bet. Also about 2 hours.

I dont know the hotel you mentioned, but attached is a link for cheap hotels in Pattaya.
