We want to take the bus from Istanbul to Ephesus but we only have a few days to spend in Turkey. We just wanted to know whether the drive from Istanbul to Ephesus is scenic or whether it's boring because otherwise we'll save Ephesus for another trip and spend the whole vacation in Turkey instead. Please advise. We don't want to take the airplane because we want to go as cheaply as possible.

I would recommend that you spend your few days in Istanbul. You could spend a week and not see it all. Leave Ephesus for another trip when you won't be rushed.

Hi,

Since you have only few days in the country, I definitelly advice to spend your time in Istanbul instead of taking a 10-hour bus trip. Istanbul has so much to see that it still surprises me sometimes although I spent my years to discover it. It still has a lot to see!

Enjoy your visit.
