By bus: take a bus from Austrijski Trg in central Sarajevo to Lunkavica (the Serbian Quarter). There is a small bus station next to the end of the city bus line. Buses start from there to Belgrade more or less every hour at daytime and the journey takes 8-9 hours. It costs EUR 10. In Belgrade the bus stops in the central bus station, next to the main railway station and 10 minutes walking from the centre.

Hi,
When travelling from Sarajevo to Belgrade, I always chose plane before bus. JAT Airways have flights every day (@ 7am from Sarajevo and around 9pm from Belgrade back to SJJ)... Return ticket costs about 150-160€.
Greetings from Sarajevo
Alma

As you know, Bosnia is divided at Serb republic (where live Serbs, the same nation live in Serbia too) and Federation (where live Muslims and Croats) so there is not good connection between, for example, Zenica (city in Muslim part) and Belgrade (Serbs capital and biggest city)!
There is some connection, but not to much!!! Chao!

Pele boy, be a good boy.... and a Bosnian, living in Bosnia, explain you something...... First of all, Serb Republic is not a correct name of ONE of the Bosnian two entities. The correct name is Republic of Srpska.
Another, even more important thing is that NOT only Muslims and Croats live in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but Serbs live there as well. Similarly, there are Muslims and Croats living in the RS. We, Bosnians, hope that one day in our near future, entities will be replaced by the new economic regions that will overcome these present borders. One step towards that has already been made by enacting customs and sales tax laws at the state level and by reconstructuring the police forces.... at the state level as well.......:)
No need to thank me for this short lesson on Bosnia, it was my pleasure.....:))))
Best regards from Sarajevo

Maybe you should check the Microsoft Encarta encyclopedia or somewhere else and see the border, and see the name "Serb republic"!
Best regards from capital of all Serbs in the world-Belgrade, of course!
