Please help with homework

Hello,
I've got a presentation to make on Tuesday morning at university and I need your help.

The topic is a typical European. Of course it was easy to collect the character of the old EU countries...
such as
- Cook like a Brit
- Drive like the French
- Sober as an Irishman
- Available as the Belgian

do you see what I mean?

Could you please help me? What's a typical Estonian like?
Thanks a lot in advance.

hello

proud as estonians-we are patriotic to our country and traditions it does nt matter how bad times we have or have had, we do not froget where our roots are and who we are

closed as estonians - we do not show our emotions because we think it is not polite and if we say complimentes , then we really mean them but we do not say them often

if you need some more info then write:)

Thanks, you've been great help.

"If I were you, I'd stick to the easier new EU countries, like Poland. "

Unfortunately I can't do that. I was asked by the teacher to look at each nation :(

PS: I love English cuisine. Yummy yummy. :)

Actually, nothing is too late :) There wasn't enough time to make my presentation. We ran out of time in the end. So much for rushing about here asking you for help. :) So got to wait 2 weeks to finally get to do it,

Why "available" as the Belgians, anyway?

A baffled Belgian...

I don't know. I can only think of the apparent beurocracy (don't know how to spell that) that goes in the EU institutions in Brussels. Those people are never available when you need them... apparently. I think our teacher told us a story where he was sent to Brussels to talk to a certain big fish but of course he wasn't in the country even though he was supposed to meet our teacher.

Hay,
I will try to help you :)

So,
all these words like cook, drive, sober, available are contrary in real situation, it means:

- Cook like a Brit
Brits don't like cooking, they more like to buy prepared food in shops or eat in restaurants :)

- Drive like the French
French are bad drivers :)

- Sober as an Irishman
Irishman are not sober, but more likely to take some mugs of bear at pubs.

- Available as the Belgian
Belgians are more likely to be not available, but modest.

We say in Lithuania:
Fast as Estonian >>> it means Estonians are slow :)

Actually, I don't think about every nation so stereotypically, but I have heart these phrasis before. It is more likely to be like jokes, but not real things.

Thank you for so nice question! :)

Sincerelly,
~Raimundas~
