Can anyone tell me if there are interesting flea markets (for vintage furniture...) in BUCHAREST or other cities in ROMANIA

You could try Bucharest's largest flea market in Obor (you can get there by metro on the Dristor 2 - Bucur Obor - Piata Victoriei - Gara de Nord - Piata Unirii - Nicolae Grigorescu line, get off at Bucur Obor, go around the Bucur Obor Store and there you find it, or simply follow the crowd). Obor hosts a huge market area divided in a few sections, where one can find everything, from fresh vegetables, to wooden kitchen items and even pieces of furniture. Just like in all crowded flea markets, be careful with your wallet.

Thank you very much Alex. Do you know if the market in Obor is open all week long or just during the weekend ? Have you heared about the "Talcioc Sunday Flea Market" - do you where it is and what is on sale there ????

Obor is a 7/7 market, open all week long. The "talcioc" you mention could be Vitan - Barzesti Flea-Market, located to the East of Mihai Bravu Metro Station. The location of the flea market has changed lightly lately because of various decisions of the City Hall and its bad fame, but it goes on one of the streets in the same area anyway. Just follow the crowd and, as a very important piece of notice, keep your belongings tight to you. The "talcioc" is open on Saturday and especially Sunday, when it is the most crowded with people buying and selling everything, from cars, to books or clothes.
