I have heard that Granada is beautiful, but hot.
Is it possible to find an apt. outside Granada in the hills, where it is cooler? If so, is it accessible by bus or inexpensive taxis? Thanks |

Do you want to be close to Granada? If so, it's a bit cooler in the Pueblos Blancos. Otherwise, head for Matagalpa, coffee country in the north of Nicaragua -- you'll lose 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit off Granada or Leon. Suerte.
