I'm planing to go on decembert to Sepilonk, and Sukau, overnight in a river lodge.
Is really the monsoon a trouble on these date? |

well yes, it should be raining practically every evening then but my experience is the mornings and afternoons will be sunny and hot and the storms will come at say 3-4pm and carry on for a while.

Hiya,
We went in feb / march and it was fairly dry, they say that the rains there aren't too bad as it doesn't really get monsoons like peninsular Malaysia, but they don't call it the wet season for nothing. while we were there you could see the place was just starting to dry out, but I doubt you could call it trouble! You should all right. I just get abit of rain sometimes in the afternoon and usually doesn't last that long. Just remember to have some salt or lighter with you because with the rainny season, you seems to find abit of litches in the jungle. :)
