Shopping - Any Factory outlets?
Posted: Mon October 25, 2004 02:21 PM UTC
I wonder whether any Bangkok citizens can recommend a place for reasonable priced clothings?

In Jakarta, there seems to be quite a number of "FActory OUtlets"

Any in Bangkok?

thanks fro your tips

Hi there!

I guess, you don't need a Factory Outlet in Bangkok as it's very cheap in there! Try the Weekend MArket-Chatuchak Market,it's in Mochit Station. Try the MaBhonKhrong-MBK, Patphong Night Market and Pratunam Market...Your haggle skills are highly needed though! And if you like to bu Lacoste Brand polo shirts try the Ploenchit Mall in the ground floor they have some nice deals!

Have fun shopping!

You are welcome! But I never tried that Lacoste polos there though as I was hesitant if it's really the same thing as the original! If you're really up to the quality, I'd rather recommend you to check out in Central,Emporium and MBK-Tokyu!That is where I got all my Lacoste stuffs! :)

Hi -

as well as Yen's excellent suggestions, I'll add another couple - both the Big C and Tesco-Lotus hypermarket chains have a good range of cheap clothes. There are branches of both chains all over Bangkok - the most central ones are the Big C opposite Central World Plaza on Rajdamri Road, and a brand-new Tesco Lotus on Rama-1 road.

Cheers,

Jeremy

If you meant the Factory Outlet like in Indonesia so there is only one (as i know) in Thailand. It's in Saraburi. They sell the original stuffs, not the pirate one at the factory prices

Hi Ammy -

Do you know what road the outlet shop is on in Saraburi? I go right past the town on every trip to Thailand - it sounds as if it would be worth a visit.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I really would love to know the contacts for this factory outlet! And the complete address if it's not too much to ask for!

I just got back from my trip. Thanks for your input.
While I was in MBK Centre, I found a little shop that sold "export overuns". Unfortunately i forgot the name of the shop. I think it was "Export ......... Shop". Its on the third floor of MBK.
