Hi !
I need to check with my friend in Shanghai.. Spring should be a perfect time to travel there. I am actually leaving in 16 days from now and cant wait :o) What are your plans for China in the spring ? I can write you some ideas, when I have returned. It is always nice to meet more travellers, as I have many,many times looked for a site like this is, and only now I have actually found one. Have a good day !

YesFeb/March is a great time to visit Beruwela.it will be sunny and warm.Plenty round about to visit, Brief Garden Turtle Sanctuary and about 3 hrs away Elepant Orphanage, Colombo for great shopping!!

On top of the other activities mentioned above Beruwala harbour is an interesting place, full of life, also nearby is Sri Lankas oldest Mosque where the Muslims first landed at Beruwala.
A river boat trip is very recommended, a bit touristy, but very interesting. You will be made welcome at the local buddhist temples, one of my favourite memories is of an evening at a temple just outside Beruwala. Have a wonderful trip (~_~)

Hi,
We are going to Kalutara (not too far from Beruwala) in Feb - have done some research and the weather should be good. Feb/Mar has the lowest rainfall. After a week beach stay, we are touring the country for a further week, before going to the Maldives. Kandy, Dambula, Sigyara, (forgive spelling)and much more on our itinary. Hope you have a great time if/when you go.

January/February/March are the best months to visit Beruwela. I was there twice, in January and February, and the weather was great, sunny and warm.
