| Milano | Mondays in Milan Posted: Fri October 22, 2004 07:45 PM UTC
Hi all,
For a first timer visiting Milan for one day/one night, how much am I missing if I check out the usual attractions on a Monday vs. Tuesday? I understand half of Milan's establishments are closed on Monday. Thing is though, Monday is ideal for my itinerary. But if I'm missing a lot checking out Milan on a Monday, I'll change my itinerary to go Tuesday instead. Thanks, Raymond |

Hi Raymond,
I live in Milan and yes a lot of attractions are closed on a Monday. If it's not too difficult I would change your plans. I t probably depends what you want to see though, Duomo is always open, I'm not sure if the castle is open on Mondays, The Last Supper is closed on a Monday and so are most of the 'designer' shops.
