Prague at Christmastime

Hi there,

My friend and I are visiting Prague between 23 and 26 December. Does anyone know whether the shops are open? We need shops for crystal, handicrafts etc.

Would we be able to go to concerts / theatre other than religious recitals?

Are museums and other places of interest open on these days?

Any info would be helpful.

Yes, most of the shops are open, museums and galleries as well (not the 24th in the evening).
There are many special Christmas concerts and events during these days.
