I know some hotels in Caldonazzo. In this village I think hotels are cheaper than in Trento.

Caldonazzo is about 25 km from Trento.

Are you going to rent a car?

No. We wanted to stay near the main train station as we were going to be taking the train from Trento to Garmisch.

thanks

This is probably a little late, but for anyone else who's looking...Hotel Accademia is super close to the train station and a truly wonderful hotel - the best in Trento. It may seem a little expensive, but they do good deals, and it's worth it. Hotel America is the next best. A good family-run hotel. Avoid Hotel Venezia unless you enjoy surly hotel staff and want a pre-packaged brioche for breakfast.
