Does anyone know what the weather is likely to be on the island from January through March? A friend and I are thinking of spending our time there in Yumani and the smaller hamlets of Challa and Challa Pampa. We are concerned that , if it is wet and cold, and the housing rather rudimentary, we may not get warm in all this time!
Has anyone spent a longish length of time in any of these places and could let us know about accommodation, internet access etc.?

All I can say is that the rainy season starts around February and I don't think that the Isla will be spared. There is no internet access on the island. Accomodations are pretty rough though livable.
