My family and I are going to be traveling to Corpus Christi in December and was wondering if my children will be able to swim in the ocean there. Is the water warm enough?

won't be able to swim in the ocean in corpus christi no matter when you go...there is no ocean there. only the gulf of mexico....lol....could not tell you if the water in corpus christi would be warm then or not, but i remember swimming in galveston around that time of the year and galveston is not as far south as corpus is

hey whats going on? well i dont think being warm enough wouldnt the question like revnecro1273 said it is the gulf but i would suggest mustang island in Port Aransas its about 30 from corpus we used to go out there and hang out i remember seeing families out there and also check out the Uss lexington on norht beach theres also a small beach there hope this helps.........greg
