Goldfield Spitoon?

I have a spitoon that has a brass plate with Goldfield Hotel, Goldfield, Nevada. Could this be an original or have replicas been made and sold?

Wow, I found a spitoon that sounds exactly like yours. It was left in a house that we purchased here in Portland,OR . I have no idea if this is even a valid email address for you anymore or not but I am hoping that it is. The internet was new when I found it and I couldn't find any history on Goldfield, NV at all. We were watching America's Most Haunted Hotels last week and I heard the name of Goldfield Hotel. What an amazement to me for sure. I too am searhing to find out if this is an authentic spitoon or just a replica. If you have discovered anything regarding the spitoon since your posting then please by all means let me know.

I have one too! I assume it's original. On Google there exist photos of the hotel lobby with a 1/2 dozen or more spitoons scattered about. Let me know if you've discovered anything.
