I've just back from those places. As I know, February in Xinjiang is still in winter which is chilly there.

weather during feb could be still chilly. So just be prepared. it's a lovely place, esp turban, dun miss the fruits there!!! i visited Xinjiang about 2 years ago, that was during sept.....beautiful piece of land, wild, primitive and rich in history and culture. You will be amazed at the people there. A lot of them have beautiful brown and blond hair, with sky-blue eyes. But they are chinese. Enjoy your stay there regards RL
