I would not recomend this if you want to see the much of Norway. The closest attraction is Røros (Roeros). Røros is definetly worth a look with it's mines, workers houses and church, but not much else (History of course).
If I were you I'd go with the tips you've got on your previous posting. From Oslo the nutshell tour ending in Bergen (Touristy yes, but beautifull). Hurtigruten up the coast. www.hurtigruten.no A trip will set you back some, but it's comfortable and the scenery on the way is unbeatable.
Alternatively you can rent a car in Bergen and take a few days driving up the coast. Be sure to take the Atlanterhavsveien to Kristiansund N. That is if you are not afraid of a bridge that seems to lead you into the ocean (it doesn't, it only seems like it does).
I see now that I should have posted this in the earliger posting, so I'll continue there.
