Goiing to Sri Lanka next week Oct. Please let me have any opinions on the following:
1. Tropical Villas Hotel 2. Beruwala 3. Local Beaches 4. Train journeys to Kandy and Badulla in observation carriage!!!! |

I have just returned from Tropical Villas I have been their 9 times and it is wonderful, It is asmall hotel set in a lovely garden, the staff are extremely helpful,friendly and very proffesional.
Beruwela is just a short Tuc tuc ride away and in the other direction is Aluthgama It is a 3 minute walk to the beach from Tropical Villas then you can walk along for ages it is very nice. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Wife and I just got back, and it was brilliant!!!! Loved Beruwala and Aluthgama market, but also went up to lovely Nuara Eliya and Tea plantation country!!! as well as Kandy and Pinewala. The train journeys from Colombo to Kandy and beyond are the most picturesque in the world. Must go again. G
