Well, I'd love to join u, but I hear the coming war in Iraq will seriously affect Athens and its surroundings. I read somewhere Iraq's missiles can destroy Athens...
The meeting idea is great but don't u think the timing is risky???
Another issue is radioactivity in Athens, isn't it above secure levels in wintertime???
I sincerely hope your answers will relax my fears, thanks in advance!

Well, for you who live in the northern part of Greece, Athens is a very dangerous place. I think you should think it, it is a risk for you..

Greetings to my fellow VTers in Athens! I was cordially invited to chime into to this fascinating discussion about your upcoming festivities in Athens! The VT MEETING FRENZY is hitting all corners of the world!! This is simply *magical!!*
I also chimed in to remove our lurking Belly Dancing Peeping Yubert back to his humble belongings in the states.....sorry for the disruption. ;->
Perhaps I can offer some clarification to those of you not aware of our upcoming shenanigans in San Francisco.
Being a "novice" at this *Party Planning* scene, I simply decided to put together an intimate, quaint gathering of those VTers interested in soaking up the San Francisco culture.
What it has turned into is a mad, mad gathering of Belly Dancers, Scientific Geniuses, Butterflies, Leather-Clad remnants of the 70's Psychodelic Art Scene........and..oh yes......a "humble" Spaniard in need of an outlet to tear him away from his LIFE AS A ROCK STAR.......
We cordially invite ALL VT members to attend and add to the already 50+ VIP guest list. There will also be a "spinoff" meeting of this potentially happening in Ibiza and hosted by our illustrious friends from Spain.
So.......with that said.......if the Geisha decides at the last minute to BAIL on this party and join forces with you all in Athens.......please have a bottle of your finest ouzo waiting for me! (Is there any way we can move the party to Santorini? Much *safer* there I hear)
