Hi there
first of all i have to say that leon is a great city to be About the musea you just have to walk around and use the travel guide there are a lot musea but the most are very small. I went to a museum about all the volcano´s in the surroundings it was a nice museum. Most of the times the closing times are different so.... You also can do a volcano trip i did that over there its beautifull enjoy your stay jeroen www.damyjeroen-online.com

There's several in Leon..my personal favorite was the FSLN museum in the parque central, but there's others you can find in the guidebooks. Museo Ruben Dario is a nice walk through his childhood home 3 blocks west of the parque central, and the Galeria de Heroes y Martires is simple but a bit depressing. You'll have no problems if you speak good Spanish, but the Ruben Dario has translated material available. There's tons of others around, just keep your ears open.
