Hi uk girl,
I never noticed anything special in clothing in Montreux.
Montreux is of course not a lower class village, but people wear all kind of clothes. People dress for the moment of the day. You'll see joggers in the morning, bankers in their suits and people dressed 'sportly'...
On the job, it is quite formal; tailleur for women in a certain position as a rule.
It is not THE place where you'll see punk nor goth clothing all over the place. You can wear a normal jeans with tennis shoes or high heels.
People are dressed so bl**dy normal...
You'll see the occasional retired lady walking her chinchilla coat on a sunny sunday october afternoon alongside the lake, but you'll see plenty of people just normally dressed for leisure.

Montreux is not on another planet!
Hope this eases your fears! :-)
Cheers
Paul

LOL.. Pheeeeew hehe

o, glad I havent got to buy all new.

I had a feeling that my normal jeans and trainers wouldnt wuite cut it!!

It was probably because of them being French.. the old "French Chic" etc took over!!

Its just I wasnt sure if it was cold or warm.. packing my long fur coat or just jeans and a jumper etc..

ITS "Such a problem" when your a girlie hehe
Thanks Paul x x x
