Hi All,

there's another reportedly fabulous exhibiton in the Museum Folkwang featuring Paul Cezanne. Some works haven't been on display in Western Europe for nearly half a century. I'm very keen on visiting. Anybody else?

Usually in Essen, I am only interested in Essen (curry wurst) and Sandra LOL
However, I might be there in October and I can consider also visiting this place. :-)

I could imagine the 17 or 18th October -- at this stage not a set date but a suggestion to enhance decision making

The weekend 16. / 17. October could be possible for me, too. At mondays (18.10.) the museum has closed! So, sunday might be a good day then!? :-)))

oh, I was intending to suggest that very weekend 16th/17th October :-) Let's see who else would like to join and what they think. The exhibition runs until next year so no reason to hurry :-)

I was actually thinking to visit during a normal weekday and not during the weekend, after all, I rather spend working time with Sandra then my weekend free time LOL.

Gilli, you can of course always visit the Folkwang Museum on Monday, it has a very nice parking lot ;-)

For me, it's pretty impossible on weekdays. Would the 16th/17th generally be okay with you, Gili?

No, sorry, I know for sure I will not be in Essen that early in October, but if its ok for you guys on that or the following weekend, go ahead, because I cannot confirm yet anyway my arrival.

It looks like I could offer the weekends 23/24 and 30/31st October.

The weekend 23/24 is not possible for me. I will be in Hamburg probably.

I could consider the weekend after (30/31st October) possible, but I have to check first... and I will tell you next days! Otherwise we have some more weekends in november to go :-) or december...

November and December will be difficult for me... lots of basketball games. And December is always so busy... Let's not pick a date within the X-Mas-Market-period!

hm... not much enthusiasm about this upcoming weekend... I'd still like to go though. Aren't there any more Cezanne fans out there interested in visiting the exhibition?

As V-Bird is out of business now it seems that the earliest I will be in Essen is in November, but I cannot confirm yet anyway.

uhhh, it looks again that I am fully booked the next weekends... As I already mentioned I am in Hamburg at the weekend 23rd/24th of October and the weekend after won't work either - there I am in Lippstadt.

Therefore, I will visit the exhibit in november also!

Okay, let's try it the other way round then! I'll probably visit this Sunday but certainly won't mind going another time -- visited the Van Gogh exhibition 3 times! I'll report my impressions here --- whenever you guys have a set date for your visit and feel like making it a joint one, just post it here as well.

So now it seems that I will be in Essen on Tuesday Nov. 9th. I am sorry that I am not free in the weekend and I know people are working at weekdays, but if you are up for a meeting that day, please let me know.

sorry.... Tuesdays is my basketball training day, I'm the captain of the team, so I must attend ;-)
