Hikkaduwa Travel Forum

I've been to Hikkaduwa 5 times. The first 3 times were at Hansa Surf Hotel and the last two times was at a Place 2 doors or next door to Hansa.
I'm trying to remember what the place is called and how to contact them as I want to stay there over xmas 2004.
I'm sure it was something like Moonlight hotel, can anybody help me?
Also has anybody met Garmony a Sri Lankan guy that can get you anything? I would like to get in touch with him

when were you last in Hickadawa? I was there in January 2001 and the beach was not the same from when i was last there 1997!
Has it got worse there for tourists or does it still have something special?

Last visit Nov 03 to Hikkaduwa, but didn,t stay long as was going to Unawatuna, did the glass bottom boat trip in Feb 03, paid over the top tourist price but will know better when I go back this Nov!

Hi ,
There is some rain some days but not enough to spoil your hols. It is still very warm. I'm going back next Friday for about 3 1/2 weeks. Last week they had sun in the morning and some rain in the afternoon.
I will be staying in Beruwala so if you are in the area we could meet if you want. just let me know.
