In 1981, when I was young and foolish, I stayed in Perugia for a week and was utterly bowled over by it. I'm surprised there are no Perugia pages - has something gone wrong, or is it just the embarrassment of riches that Italy has to offer?
The reason I am asking is that I really would like to go back to this wonderful city later this year, and I wondered if anybody has any advice. Or, indeed, would like to show me round when I get there? I heard recently that the long steep slog up from the railway station has been relieved by a super-escalator! |
