PERU GATEWAY TRAVEL : travel to peru Posted: Wed September 22, 2004 09:52 PM UTC
Hi, Has anyone had experience with this travel agent?
I am planning this itinerary. Day 1 : Lima overnight at Lima Day 2 : Transfer to puerto maldonado - looking around Day 3 : amazon forest Day 4 : To cusco Day 5 : optional cusco tour Day 6,7,8,9 : Inca hike Day 10 : Cusco to Puno Day 11 : Sun Island Day 12 : to Lima
I appreciate any comments on this itinerary as well.
Thanks,
Kasturi

(First: I have no experience of that travel agent) D1, you will have the time only to see the central historic parts of Lima D2, there is not much to see in Puerto Maldonado, better use your time in the forest, if possible D4, take it very easy when coming to Cusco, to avoid feeling bad for the altitude D5, what cusco tour are you planning? D10-D12, seem reasonably, though I have not been there yet.

The old colonial centre of Lima, and the Gold Museum, are worth a day.
