Who can help me, is it possible to went from Kota Bharu to Alor Setar by bus? May be smb know the schedule of this route?

Its possible to travel frm Kota Bharu to Alor Setar by bus via the East-West Highway. Sorry I'm not sure about the schedule etc, prolly other VTers can help on this. Anyway, here's alink on some of the buses that serve this route:

Not sure about exact schedule but a long distance bus will normal two times a day, morning and night.

Just in case if you can't get a bus to Alor Setar, you can get to Butterworth, as long as you arrive in Butterworth during day time, there are buses going to Alor Setar every half an hour. It takes about 1 half hour to go Alor Setar from Butterworth.

Are you going to Alor Setar for Langkawi? If you are going to Langkawi, it is better to ask if there is buses going to Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis, there are both have jetty to go Langkawi

Yes, after Kota Bharu I want to visit Langkawi. You're thinking, that there is some routes from Kota Bharu to Kuala Kedah or K Perlis? I'm planing to come to Alor Setar, and than on other bus or a taxi to Kuala Kedah...

You can check the bus to Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis if you don't want to stop at Alor Setar. It is about half an hour from Alor Setar to Kuala Kedah.

I am not familiar with Kuala Kedah, but from Kuala Perlis, there is ferry almost every half an hour. Rm 12 for adult. It takes approx. 45 min to reach Langkawi.
