Finding the cheapest apartment

Hi, my name is Roger. I am relocating to China in summer for long term. I will maintain a website and will get paid from the Netherlands. But since that's only work for a couple of hours a week, payment won't be much (maybe 2500 RMB / monthly)... So I was wondering if anyone has some info abt cheap apartments / sublets... I'm not picky so I won't mind if its small and dodgy... Or do you consider another city in China (with low living standard) more suitable for my situation? Hope anyone can help me in this matter Regards, Roger
