Hi, i'm going to Zhengzhou in Jan 08 and don't know yet where to stay. i've planned to stay for a few days to see Luoyang, Kaifeng and Shaolin before heading off to Xi'an. Could anyone please recommend a reasonable hotel in Zhengzhou. Thanks.

You might want to try the Erqi Hotel at Erqi Guangchang... the last time I stayed there was February 2005 so prices might have changed though. Best of luck!

Thanks a lot :) Btw, do you know any hotel in Luoyang and Mt. Huashan too? i've planned to fly to Xian then take train to Zhengzhou -> Luoyang -> Mt. Huashan -> back to Xian. i've got a lot of info about Xian but not much on Luoyang and Mt. Huashan. It's my first time as a backpacker too! thanks heaps.
