Not true. After the Iraqi guards give you some tea, they might ask you where (in general) you plan on travelling. But specifics are not required at all.

ok then no adresses required before enterring iraq. tomorrow we are leaving for iraq .starting from diyarbakir. no rip off with private taxis but with regular tourbusses .loads of busoperators in diy, keep you posted
