I will be travelling to Croatia in mid January and I will be based in Novigrad. I hope to travel throughout northern croatia and Italy during my stay. Will I be able to take public transport (bus or train) from Novigrad to various locations? Does anyone have any tips, recommendations etc. Much appreciated
You could visit some nice places in Istra; as Porec, Rovinj and Pula.

There are several direct buse from Trieste to these places in Istria.They run every day except on sundays.

Thanks The website is in Italian and therefore Im not able to understand it too well. I think I will be able to move around okay. Can I use Euros or will I be only able to use KUNA in Croatia?

Can I get from Trieste to Venice easily? The reason Im asking these questions is my daughter is staying in the UK, I am in Toronto and visiting Novigrad. I am trying to get her to Croatia in the easiest possible way.

I went to Pula, Rovinj yesterday and it was very beautiful I plan on staying in Rovinj at the weekend for a couple of days.

I'd recommend a daytrip to Porec. I like that town very much. It's a short bus trip from Rovinj. Enjoy Croatia!

Perhaps Plitvice national park, 2 hrs by bus from Zagreb? It gets very cold there so get some warm clothes if you want... more
