Hi all! Visiting Croatia at the weekend..just wondering should I change my money? In England before I go or change when I get there for the best rate? Thanks for your help :) Neil
I always change a bit before I go (I like to have money to hand on arrival) and get more as I need it (exchange or ATM). I don't spend enough to warrant worrying about 'best rates': unless you are changing a lot of money it doesn't make much difference, as far as I can see. Many people here say ATMs give the best rates, but you need to check what charges your card provider will make for each withdrawal. And tell the card provider that you will be abraod, of course.

Hey there, there are many exchange offices in the city and the rates are usually good. They don't take comissions so the value you'll see on the chart is the value you'll got. On the main square you have one just on the left from the clock, you can't miss it, it's near the souvenir shop. However don't go to the banks becuase they usually have lower rates.
