hello can someone please give me information about the train from zagreb to venezia,italy.What is the return-ticket price and what time does the train leave zagreb? And also is it possible to purchase ticket at the station, without previous reservations? Thank you
You can buy your tickets at the railway station, you don't need a previous reservation. For timetables just consult the excellent trip planner at www.bahn.de. Just one not though: The timetable changes on december 9th, so all data for some countries isn't in the system yet. You can however get an idea of the offer available just by looking up times for a random day before dec. 9th

Perhaps Plitvice national park, 2 hrs by bus from Zagreb? It gets very cold there so get some warm clothes if you want... more
