weather in beginning of November

I will be going to Zagreb, Varazdin, Split, Dubrovnik and back to Zagreb beginning November 3rd, 2005. I was just wondering how the weather will be. It seems that October and November are rainy months from some internet searches I did. Will there be much difference between the coast and Zagreb? Thanks, Jim
