No, but I think we can count on Zdenka. (Mark, if you don't know where Ljevak is - it's just under the most beautiful skyscraper in the center of Zagreb.) ((This should wake her up :))

UF, UF UF, that skyskraper is the most ugliest thing that happend to Zagreb, worst then earthquake from the 16th century.

I didn't even know there was a skyscraper in Zagreb!!! Never fear, I will find it.

Unfortunatelly, now you know it, when you see something very ugly, that is the place. Oopps, hope Niksa is off-line.

Ha, ha! I can't believe it. All the pictures I've seen of Zagreb are so beautiful.

Coz we all are shame to snap that building, except Niksa who adore it. But, after all, he is an architect! Can you at least dress it properly Niksa?

This girl was, as always, working last evening! I logged on just for a second to send the translation, did not look at VT cause then I'd spend at least 2 hrs online :-) There are two Finnish ladies coming that same Sunday and I had already promissed to take them around. They did not like the idea that the three of us join you guys so I'm afraid I will not be able to be with you from the beginning. I'll arrange with Seni to take turns guiding our Finnish guests, most likely I'll be with them from 11 am till 2 pm. When do you guys meet up under that masterpiece of lets-screw-up-yet-another-main-square?

Niksa - I saw the skyscaper on your homepage, but I don't think it can quite reach the sky! ;-) Zdenka - I hope you can make it. After our meeting, I will want to take a short tour of the city (or maybe just a museum if the weather is bad). Niksa offered his brilliant tour guide services, but I don't mind having two guides! ;-)

This sounds like an expensive tour, Niksa. I might have to pay you with coffee or postcards from the coast . . . Okay, I'm off to work . . .

I don't expect to see too much in only one day . . . I guess I'll have to come back to Zagreb in the future to see more of it (maybe in the summer when it's warmer!). So Zdenka, are you questioning Niksa's brilliant tour guide skills?! :-)

Unfortunately I will not be in Zagreb on this sunday, but I hope that you will have good time and that you will fall in love with this town. The soul of Zagreb is made, among everything, also by skyscrapers. The one in main square is not the most beautiful, but without him it would not be so interesting at this forum. I do not know why people lose time by quarreling about the skyscrapers. This town has lot more to offer. Enyoj!

Sorry you won't be able to come, but thanks for your reply. I think the quarreling comes only from their love for Zagreb . . . like a family quarrel with no ill intent.

Ha ha, does it really sound like we quarrel? Don't worry, these two guys (Boris and Niksa) are my favorite Croatian members... but that skyscraper is ugly! :-))

I don't mind ending up in a bar, especially if it's zero degrees outside! No, I'm not packed yet, but I'm always prepared for a vacation. You would laugh if you saw how I pack for a trip. It takes me about 10 minutes!

Mark, today it was 10 degrees, and very sunny (but it was around zero in the morning). Perfect for me to leave work earlier, take some photos of you-know-what and put them in a T'logue of my Zagreb page :-) You-know-what and coffee are the only constant of our regular VT meetins in Zagreb. (Kremsnite also being quite close).

Sorry, ja sam skroz nova na ovom podrucju, pa mi se nekako ucinilo (mozda pocetnicka nezrelost i entuzijazam!) da se ljudima koji dolaze u Zagreb treba ponuditi nesto vise od rasprave o neboderima. Nadam se da svojim kratkim komentarom nisam nanijela previse stete.
