From Ancona to Zadar - roundtrip

What is the recommended ferry line to zadar? Preferably the cheapest.I can only find jardinilia and their schedule is very limited (only 1-2 day). And is it advisable to book everything online or I can book when I get there?

    There are more options to Split: Jadrolinija Blue Line Ferries (www.blueline-ferries.com) SNAV catamarans (www.snav.it) From Split to Zadar there are frequent bus connections (www.ak-split.hr). If you'll travel only as a foot passenger (no cabin reservation needed) then there is usually no need to book in advance.
