Hi, Strange question to ask - but i have family who are currently on a working holiday in York, and rather than buy and send a present from Australia (and incur the huge costs), I was thinking of buying online through a department store in York? (most like a gift card) Marks & Spencer... Browns..... I just dont know what there is, and which would given them (25 old) the best selection! Thanks

This is not a strange question at all. Many people will order gifts online and have them delivered 'remotely'. The store does not even need to be in York as our Postal/Courier service is currently excellent. A greetings message can be included and even gift wrapping ! For example you can order some smoked salmon from Scotland to be delivered to an address in York. Or flowers from the Channel Islands to be delivered to an address in York ! Or chocs from Thorntons. thorntonschristmasemporium.c... The list is endless.

I agree, much better choice for a 25 year old, male or female. M&S do good quality stuff but a little too old for young 'uns :o)
