The Ekaterinburg Museum Of Fine Arts
The museum has two buildings that are located at the heart of the city — the rebuilding mansion of the XVIII century on Voevodina street in the Historic Center (“Istorichesky Skver”) and the former shop building of the modern style on Vaynera street.
In the main hall visitors may enjoy the world famous Kasli mouldings (traditional kind of cast-iron sculpture in the Ural) and examples of Russian arts and crafts, bright examples of Russian and western painting. Museum is famous also for its Kaslinsky Cast Iron Exhibition Hall. Every year the museum holds approximately 50 replaceable exhibitions, including works of young artists of Ekaterinburg and Ural artists of standing reputation.
The second building of the museum on Vainera street has the unique collection of Russian avant-garde of 1910-1920’s includes works of prominent and half-forgotten artists. Visitors enjoy folk popular prints of the “Jack of Diamonds group” artists such as Ilya Mashkov and Pyotr Konchalovsky, artists of Suprematist trend Kazimir Malevich and Olga Rozanova, Neo-Primitivist pictures by Natalya Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov.

Monday is usually the "closed day" of museums.
I checked some official sites of Ekaterinburg museums: Regional museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (open other days from 11am to 6 pm), Geological museums is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and open on working days from 11am to 5 pm (museums is a part of the Ural Mining University). And the info about Fine Arts museum is in the previous post
