Looking at going to Yang Shu from UK for a few weeks to do some Yang Tai Chi (on my bucket list) any advice on schools and best overland travel method from Hong Kong airport. Many thanks, Richard
Yangshuo, not Yangshu, I presume? "Best" is subjective. I would probably suggest that you take the Airport Express to Central then change to the MTR to Lok Ma Chau (Futian border). Cross the border to Shenzhen, take the metro to Zhuzilin stop, walk to Futian long-distance bus station and then catch a sleeper bus to Yangshuo. Departures are at 0950 and 1950. Look on mtr.com.hk/images/MTR_routem... for a map of Hong Kong's MTR system, and http://www.szmc.net/10station/index.jsp for a map of Shenzhen's MTR system.

If you know a Shenzhen local you can take a bus from LuoHu but really going to Futian will be better/easier. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance especially if you see an expat -they are usually happy to help unless they are in the same situation a you.
