I visited a park, beautifully surrounded by man-sized wooden figures - - and many figures of fairytales made of wood - - more than 18 years ago... I think it was in YALTA - maybe it was in ODESSA ?? It was an excursion with the crew-bus in a port in Black Sea, that is for sure - - but I could not find any more infos about it so far. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anybody may help me ???
Hello It was definitely so-called "Poliana skazok" (clearing of fairytales) A big park with wooden figures of fairyutale herous. It was not in Yalta ity itself, but very close to Yalta It is quite popular place in Crimea take care

Hi Inga ! Thanks a lot - I took only a few pics as my film was finished, but I liked especially the fence, made of life-size wooden figures, that looked like soldiers watching. Michael

U r welcome, Michael. I was too little when I was there (about 4 years-old), and did not visit it after but this plae is really very known and popular. There is a bus stop "poliana skazok", as far as I remember.

the "fairytale glade" is in Yalta -15 min drive from the promenade!
