When I went there there was only one small area that caused concern. It was a ladder area about two-three metres high. If you are fit and agile it is easy. I did see a lot of old people coming and going so they did. The rest of the climb is about 3k of stone staircase. At about the 1300metre mark you will find the souvenir stall! I am not sure whether there are other cable cars on the mountain but the name of this one eludes me. I will look at my photos and see if I can pick it up from them. When I went it was snowing during the cable car ascent and above so you need to be prepared. Some warm clothing can be bought on the mountain but I ended up with a woman's scarf as that was all they had left.
