From Wroclaw to Prague

Hello: I want to travel from Wroclaw to Prague by train. On previous Friday I took a train to Krakow and it took 5 hours to travel a distance of 200km. Is there a fast train operating between Wroclaw and Prague. Nobody among the ticketing staff speaks or understands english :( sooo help me out . What can be some other option? bus ?

    bahn.de/p/view/international... will give you train times/routes (search for 'praha'). The train is not especially fast, I'm afraid. 8+ hours seems the shortest journey time (there are no direct trains, so changes take up time). Can't find any info on buses, but if they exist they will almost certainly take as long as the train (and probably longer).

    This info is probably too late for you, but a direct train from Wroclaw to Prague takes 6.5 to 7 hours and does NOT go through Katowice. For details check out my video blog post about this particular trip: gobart.tv/2009/09/01/wroclaw...
