I will be in BA 16th of august for two weeks and would love to see a tango/dinner show. Any suggestions?
Probably the most elaborate one is the La Esquina de Carlos Gardel, but a bit touristy, but quite the show, with a great menu. There are of course many more. http://www.esquinacarlosgardel.com.ar/ Having visited as a tour director, i know the more tour oriented shows, but the ones I visted on my own are a bit hazy.....and i can't for the life of me remember where they are. Suffice it to say that they were pretty good and a bit more "local". That being said, the Esquina Carlos shows are quite elaborate and a joy to watch. Here is my own general tip on Buenos Aires.
