OK..... We are looking at optionts re: travelling to whitehaven beach to marry. Can anyone reccomend a boat we can hire to take us there please? Whats the weather like at the start of April, and whats the journey like via boat over to whithaven? We will base ourselves in Airlie afterwards we would like to go somewhere for a spoilterness honeymoon for 3 nights- a resort that allows no children, any pointers? Finally how do you get to Airlie from Brisbane? I thanks you for reading this and all my questions and hope you do not have a headache!!!!
Apart from Hamilton island which has its own direct air service, The airport serving the whitsundays is at Proserpine, which is located on the highway inland from Airlie beach. Proserpine airport is also the airport used for any helicopter services to some of the islands.
