Hi, I will be arriving Airlie Beach Fri and staying Until Mon (FEB), can anyone recommend a bareboat charter company that does 3 days hires. We are a couple so don't need anything big. Just want to get a feel for bareboat sailing. Thanks

Sea Star Cruising do 3 night charters but they use power catamarans not sailing vessels. Their website is www.seastarcruising.com.au I hope that this helps

I went with Southern Cross Adventures and had a great time. They have several boat options tho I went w/ the namesake flagship (The Southern Cross) a retro-fitted America's Cup Challenger (circa 1981). Capacity of two crew and 13 guests allows for opportunity to enjoy the cruise and get to know some of your fellow travelers. They were flexible w/ the schedule over the three day trip allowing for more time snorkeling the reefs and even made a booze run to Hamilton Island (where Julia Roberts keeps a house) to restock the bar.
