Montego Bay May 14, 2013 at 1:40 PM

Hello, my family will be coming to Jamaica in 2 weeks time staying at Hilton Rose Hall, Montego Bay. we have our children with us aged, 7 and 6 year olds. as we are trying to make this an educational trip as well as a holiday, is it possible to arrange a short school visit as an experience for the children to experience their culture in a local school and also would like to attend a sunday morning service at pentecostal church if possible. I really do hope someone is able to help us. we would be most appreciative and would like to thank you in advance. Mrs Campbell

Prefer not to stay all inclusive.

      Jamaica May 16, 2013 at 1:02 PM

My husband and I have been to Aruba (which we love), and St. Maarten (which was ok), and the resorts we stayed at were not all inclusive. We are very interested in visiting Jamaica, but we prefer to explore islands, eat at different restaurants, and of course relax on the beach - so we aren't all inclusive people. I have read online that Jamaica is safe (just use common sense), and the locals are super friendly, but then you hear through word of mouth that Jamaica is not that safe. Would Jamaica be for us to visit, even if we decide to not do all inclusive? Thanks in advance for your help!

    • Huricanne Damage to Sandals Whitehouse Resort

by little_hottie Online Now Oct 8, 2004 at 10:27 AM

I have a wedding scheduled in June 2005 at Sandals Whitehouse resort and am concerned as to any damage resulting from the hurricane to this resort. I know that Westmoreland was heavilly damaged by the hurricane. I have contacted Sandals customer service regarding this issue, and their response was they were unaware of any damage to either the resort or the beach. Can anyone give me an update on the conditions at Whitehouse?
