    • [2013] Places to Stay in Dublin for Young Professional

      Dublin Jun 10, 2013 at 1:00 AM

Hi, I will be moving to Dublin for work in September 2013. Likely to be there for at least 2 years. My office will be located at Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2. Any good suggestions for reasonable accommodation with easy access to public transport and amenities like supermarkets, nightlife, etc? Safety of course is very much a priority also. Much appreciated!

    • route to see Giantcauseway, Leitrm, Galway and Dingle

      Leitrim May 28, 2013 at 5:20 PM

We are also booking a bed-and-breakfast with hired car trip in July for 10 days. That means two Friday nights! We'd like to see the Causeway and visit family homesteads in Leitrim and Ballinskellings. Not sure how many Gathering events are go on during the week so thought we'd head to the Causeway in the beginning of the week. Any suggestions or are we trying to cover too much? Thanks

      Left Luggage

      Dublin May 20, 2013 at 4:24 PM

We are shortly to travel to Dublin and will arrive in the centre soon after 9.00am. The hotel doesn't allow check-in until 3pm and has no facilities for leaving luggage. Anyone know anywhere in the Grafton Street area where luggage can be left for a few hours at reasonable cost?

    • Must-see sites in southern

      Ireland 17 hours ago

I'm going on a tour for a week around the southern half of Ireland with my grandmother, and we're going to the major sites like Dublin, Galway, Connemara, the cliffs of Moher. Are there other places anyone considers a must-see? Maybe a lesser-known area or just anywhere that sticks out in the mind? We'll have some free time during the tour and I want to see as much as possible. Keep in mind though that my grandmother will be with me, so a ton of walking or hiking is probably not a viable option, unfortunately. Thanks!

      No tourists

      Ireland Jun 10, 2013 at 5:58 PM

Now that I have decided to visit Belfast, Dublin and will end up in Shannon, I am looking for some places where tourists will be far and few between. I have looked at Cork, Killarney, Galway and these places seem to be nothing but tourist oriented. I would like to find some small towns/cities/villages where I can spend a couple of days and hopefully not see tourists over running the area.

How to get from Dublin to Dingle

      Dingle Jun 6, 2013 at 11:36 PM

Hello everyone! I'm trying to make my way to Dingle in the best time possible. My plane doesn't arrive in Dublin until 13:20, so I know that I'm missing any plane I might catch to Kerry Airport, but is there any way to fly to Cork airport from Dublin and then take a bus (or train) to Dingle/Tralee? Or if not, is a bus or train faster when leaving from Dublin airport? I realize neither of those options are as fast as a plane--but I DO want to get there sooner rather than later. Thank you so much for anyone taking the time to answer this, I appreciate it a lot!

In August 2009 we bought Hush Puppies Shoes for my son and his dad. We cant remember the name of the shop. It was a smallish shop. It was past the main shopping street down a little and sold clothes like Wrangler and Levis etc. as well as shoes. Can anyone help? Any suggestions?

    • Where would you eat in Wexford with kids

by susacha Online Now Jun 26, 2009 at 8:24 AM

They are quite civilised and love to eat out, so it doesn't have to be McDonalds, but I don't want to spend an absolute fortune. Somewhere nice but not crazily expensive where people won't frown at me for having brought children. We'd be gone by 8.30.

    • Are there any nice clothes shops in Wexford?

by susacha Online Now Jun 26, 2009 at 8:21 AM

I'm in my 30s and like 'high street' shops like Zara, Mango, Monsoon, Next, H&M, all the ones you get up in Dublin. Just wondering if a trip to Wexford to look at clothes would be worth it.

Hi, I will be staying around the Kilmuckridge area between Arklow and Wexford for a week in July. Any ideas on interesting destinations for day trips (have car) or local fishing. Fly fishing for trout and/or sea fishing excursions (mackerel/pollack) would be good. Thanks.
