      Ireland Jul 21, 2015 at 7:10 AM

      Hi,
me and my family (my wife and my 2 years son) will be in Ireland from 5 to 13 of august.
We planned to visit this town: Kinsale - Bantry - Kenmare - Glin -Doolin - Galway - Dublin.
If someone living in some of this places is pleased to meet us we are very happy.
I think this is the best way to visit a foreign country....
      Thanks

Ferry from Ireland to Wales... Dublin or Rosslare?

      Ireland Jul 3, 2015 at 8:51 AM

I'll be in Northern Ireland for a genealogy course in September, then going down to Waterford. To travel back to London, I'm debating between going across at Rosslare, or going from Dublin to Holyhead. Not sure if this is an Irish question or a Welsh question... as I also need to know which would be the best train to London. But I also need to know what is the easiest way for a foot passenger - will be either taking train or bus to ferry terminal... and then train to London - so which would be handiest, or most scenic. I'm retired, have the time, and don't really want to fly... don't see much!
Thanks for your help! I am posting this in the Wales forum as well.

      Dublin Jul 12, 2015 at 4:57 AM

We have a layover on a Monday from 9am to 4pm. We are thinking about trying to go to pub for an early lunch. Is that to risky? If not, any recommendations? Last thing we want to do is miss our flight back to the US, but would love to venture out just a little.

by bayloric Online Now Feb 8, 2015 at 2:35 AM

Wife and I are seriously considering leaving dublin to find affordable accomodation. Online the pricing for housing in wexford seems very good but we don't know anything about the areas which are good to live in. Could somebody give us some advice as a married couple looking to make the move? Thanks.

Hi my name is Nebojsa I`m Serbian I applied for job in Ireland online it`s company in Wexford called Lionbridge who is searching for person who knows Croatian language (Croatian Speakers required in Wexford). For Serbians is required work permit to work in Ireland, and I know that the employer rarely employs workers who don`t have work permit. So my question is because knowledge of Croatian language is very rarely, and I guess that few workers from the EU knows that language is it possible to person who don`t have work permit gets the job,are the company willing to invest in workers without work permits for such type of work.Is there anyone who is interested to share their experience about it.Thank you very much...

    • Where would you eat in Wexford with kids

by susacha Online Now Jun 26, 2009 at 8:24 AM

They are quite civilised and love to eat out, so it doesn't have to be McDonalds, but I don't want to spend an absolute fortune. Somewhere nice but not crazily expensive where people won't frown at me for having brought children. We'd be gone by 8.30.

    • Are there any nice clothes shops in Wexford?

by susacha Online Now Jun 26, 2009 at 8:21 AM

I'm in my 30s and like 'high street' shops like Zara, Mango, Monsoon, Next, H&M, all the ones you get up in Dublin. Just wondering if a trip to Wexford to look at clothes would be worth it.

by Redsedge Online Now Jun 19, 2007 at 3:29 PM

Hi, I will be staying around the Kilmuckridge area between Arklow and Wexford for a week in July. Any ideas on interesting destinations for day trips (have car) or local fishing. Fly fishing for trout and/or sea fishing excursions (mackerel/pollack) would be good.
      Thanks.
