Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in Horsham? We would rather stay as near to the town as possible.
Not sure there are too many hotels in Horsham, not exactly a tourist mecca! However it is a nice, pleasant market town. You could try the Travel inn 'www.travelinn.co.uk', which is opposite the train station, and no, not like most trrain station areas its not run down seedy etc. The hotel is an established chain in England offering good rooms for reasonable rates (for England) - about £50 a night. its a pleasant 10 min stroll into the town centre or 5 mins in taxi at the station opposite. the hotel is attached to a nice pub serving decent beer and typical food. Alternatively you could try a couple of pubs in the town centre 'the Crown' which may have rooms, but remember it may be a bit noisy? Not hugely helpfull, sorry, but its been a while since i was last in Horsham!! Good luck!!
